UEFI firmware for N-series Intel® Pentium® Processor and Intel® Celeron® Processor Families

Braswell firmware Image versions Version 2016-08-05 & Version 2016-06-15 will no longer be available after October 20, 2019 and will not be supported with any additional functional, security, or other updates. All versions are provided as is. Intel recommends that users of Braswell firmware uninstall and discontinue use as soon as possible.

The N-series Intel® Pentium® Processor and Intel® Celeron® Processor families (formerly Braswell) use a multicore System on a Chip (SoC) based on a new microarchitecture and are manufactured on Intel’s industry leading tri-gate 14nm process.

This sample UEFI firmware is designed for N-series Intel Pentium Processor and Intel Celeron Processor families, and has been verified on the Intel Cherry Hill BSP. This sample codebase uses the Intel UDK2015 core and Intel® Firmware Support Package (Intel® FSP) to demonstrate building a full UEFI solution by combining open source EDK II with Intel® FSP binaries.

Instructions on the github tree describe how to combine the open source 'pentium-celeron-n-udk2015' github branch with the BraswellBinaryPkg (below) and Intel® FSP to build a complete UEFI firmware solution.

The 'pentium-celeron-n-udk2015' branch requires the following binary package for proper platform initialization:

BraswellBinaryPkg (2016-08-05, ZIP file)
BraswellBinaryPkg (2016-06-15, ZIP file)
